Allyson, Don't miss the Blue Heaven in Bahama Village, funky place but the absolutly the best fish I ever ate! Mangia, Mangia has good italian food and is not expensive. The Marquessa Hotel is more expensive, but the food is great too. Louie's Backyard on the other end of the Island is also very good. We have tried several, I think those were the best. Have a great time. Bonnie

A couple of our favorites are: Mangia Mangia on Margaret St, a few blocks from the Raw Bar/Turtle Krawls section..Good Italian food. El Siboney on Margaret--but closer to the Atlantic side--good Cuban food and lots of it. Kelly's on Whitehead St. Very popular with the locals. The Key West Conch Farm was good when I was there last January visiting our daughter. Check out www.keywest.com for other info. Have fun

For a true "dining experience" you might try Lattitudes, which is a short boat ride away on Sunset Key. It's owned by the Hilton so you may make reservations through their desk. They provide the transportation. The food is delicious but a little pricey. Our nicest surprise on our most recent trip (we just got back Sunday) was the Bagatelle, which is on Duval. We had two fabulous meals there, and I highly recommend it. If you search around on the web, you should be able to locate something called "The Menu", which includes the menus from many, if not most, restaurants in Key West. Good luck!! I wish I were on my way back!
If someone has had a bad experience with the Bagatelle, don't be deterred...they just changed hands the first of October.
