The ONLY restaurant my husband and I loved on MV was "The Alchemy" in Edgartown. We stayed there for 5 days and wish we had discovered this GREAT restaurant on the first day! They have 2 yummy salads: a delicious asparagus crab salad and "What the Chef's Eat" salad. Neither my husband nor I are salad fans, but these won us over instantly! Wash these down with some wine and get a table outside (either upstairs or downstairs) and you will have the start of the perfect evening!

At least one night, I would suggest getting some dinner "to go" and a bottle of wine for a sunset picnic on the beach in Menemsha. Great atmosphere!

Chesca's in Edgartown was our favorite.
They have a great hot shrimp/roquefort dip that is to die for. Also lovely paella.
Great bar scene too!

Off the subject, but... How are you managing the day trip to Nantucket? When I looked at the Hyline Interisland ferry schedule from MV to Nantucket and return, the earliest ferry arrives in Nantucket at 12:15 and the latest return is at 4:15.
