Ben Benson's is also close to Radio City if you want steak, and it's better (and a more NYC experience). But you must make a reservation if you're going to be in the area.
What I'd actually suggest is not an early supper but rather a late lunch, say around 3pm. You could have a bigger pick of places and even go to someplace a little farther away like Five Napkin Burger. But whatever the decision I can't stress enough how important it is to make a reservation. It's going to be a mob scene on Saturday.

If I wanted steak in the Theater District, I'd go to Bobby Van's: http://www.menupages.com/restaurants...-vans-grill-2/
There's so much to offer in that area. Are there any other types of food you are interested in?

I agree with ggreen that Bobby Van's has better steak than Ruth Chris and so does Ben Benson but that's not available til 6 which I think is too late. There's also an Uncle Jack's steakhouse at 44 west 56th st. that would be near Radio City. I haven't been to that location but they do good steak. Do you know about opentable.com? You can look to see what's available in midtown west. Both Bobby Van's & Uncle Jack's show up free at 5 pm.

"Carnivore" and "Indian" are kind of incompatible.
But nonetheless, there are a few really good Indian restaurants nearby:
Utsav is fancy - and good - Indian just a few blocks from Radio City: http://www.menupages.com/restaurants/utsav/
Jewel of India is a similarly upscale experience only a block or two farther away: http://www.menupages.com/restaurants/jewel-of-india/
The only Cuban I've had in the area is the chain Havana Central; the space has a nice atmosphere and the food is palatable if not particularly authentic... http://www.menupages.com/restaurants...-times-square/
Much better in the area is Brazilian, since "Little Brazil" is on 46th Street, but I don't have any specific recommendations(!).
One more nearby steakhouse to mention is AJ Maxwell's. They do open for dinner at 4pm. I have not eaten there, but I've heard it's good... http://www.menupages.com/restaurants...ls-steakhouse/
David Chang's Ma Peche on W. 56th Street could be an option, though the reviews are hot and cold. (I've only had drinks/nibbles there but they definitely were tasty.) http://www.menupages.com/restaurants/ma-peche/
What about sushi? There are a number of Japanese restaurants in the area...

If the men don't mind wearing jackets, you could go to the 21 Club which is very close to Radio City. 21club.com
A Voce in the Time Warner building at Columbus Circle has a table for 4 at 5 pm. Fit for foodies and plenty of carnivore choices from pork chops and lamb chops to hanger steak.
For Indian, I've had mixed experiences at Utsav (very good buffet lunch and mediocre dinners) but Raga is closer to Radio City and while I haven't been there in years, the reviews still look good. It won't be as memorable (imo) as many of the others mentioned. http://www.menupages.com/restaurants/raga-midtown/

this site put me onto Morrells Wine bar and Cafe on either 48th or 49th, right at Rickefeller center, very convenient to Radio City. Really very nice,a very creative menu, great wines and cozy, with excellent service--priced like 150 for dinner of 4 with wine--not bad really.Went there twice on a recent trip

If you want something upscale, Morrell.s sounds really good if you can really get dinner with wine for under $40 per person.
If you want a cheap steak fast, also consider Le Relais de Venise L'Entrecote at 52nd/Lex, one of my very favorite places. For $24.95, you get steak, fries, and a salad. They serve nothing else food-wise except for dessert. Wine is extraordinarily cheap. It is not mountains of food like at Plataforma, but then it costs half as much and you can eat in less than an hour. But it's not as close as Morrell's
