Restaurant in Boston area to celebrate 26th Birthday?

Any suggestions? Could also be in Cambridge, Somerville, or a nearby area...

Hi Kristen - can you give us a few details on what sort of place you're looking for. Number of people in the party - budget range - cuisine types favored by the birthday boy/girl. There are so many good places in the area - you'll get more responses if you narrow things down a bit!

I had a fun meal at Cha Cha or Cha Cha Cha, something like that. It was a VERY popular, young, funky restaurant a few years ago (when I went) -- don't know if it's still that way. Good food, crowded, strong drinks.

How about Kowloon restaurant on route 1 in Saugus. Largest Chinese restaurant in New England, seats up to 1,500 people. Specializes in parties with entertainment, comedy and music.

I have a comment about Fire & Ice which no one has brought up yet, though I know it's a very popular restaurant and mentioned here often. That is, the food is only as good as you are at putting together a dish. The fun part is that you fill a bowl with anything you like from a huge selection of ingredients. Then you choose a sauce. The staff cooks whatever you have concocted...so it can be terrific or terrible (or anything in between). The concept is fun, but the results are totally up to you! Makes you appreciate how good a traditional Chinese restaurant can be. Just my two cents.
