Restaurant around 52nd St.

My husband, my mother, and I are going to see Jersey Boys which is at 245 W. 52nd St. I'm looking for suggestions for a nearby restaurant. Something within a few blocks from there. I'm familiar with the places on 46th (Restaurant Row) but am looking for something a little closer. Something casual, perhaps with a prix fixe lunch for about $20 like the Restaurant Row places offer. Not Indian or Chinese. Any ideas? Thanks.

Check out Roberto Passon, on the corner of 50th and 9th. Wonderful food. I've only had dinner, not lunch, but the lunch menu looked great and although I don't think they have a prix fixe lunch, it should be pretty much in your price range.

Should have checked first.
They do have a prix fixe lunch for $15, but dessert is extra -- and worth it!!

I'll get this right yet. The $15 does include dessert. I didn't scroll down far enough. It's a strange site to navigate. Circles keep moving, but you have to click the tiny circles at the bottom, not the moving ones.

Thanks so much, Patrick. It looks great. I'm looking forward to that tiramisu!

Patrick-Thanks for the suggestion of Roberto Passon. We ate lunch there and it was excellent. The $15 does include an appetizer, entree, and dessert. My mom had salmon, DH had gnocci, and I had chicken saltimbocca. The portions are huge! They'd be large if it were for dinner, but it was lunch. My only disappointment was that the tiramisu that was on the website price fixe menu wasn't offered, but the other desserts were very good. Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. I'd definitely go back.

Based on below string, I've made reservations for an early dinner this Friday night when I'll be in NY with my husband. We're meeting other friends visiting the same weekend. I heard the pumpkin ravioli is delicious (menupages.com). What did your party try from the menu?
Thanks for the suggestion.

We had the price fixed lunch menu. For starters I had Caesar Salad, mom had Tri-Colore Salad, DH had beet salad. Entrees as stated above. Desserts: Panna Cotta and another who's name I can't remember. It was cappuchino ice cream covered in chocolate. We enjoyed it all. Hope you do, too.
