Ressies for Less Know Restaurants in NYC?

Hello All, I know you need reservations for the "major restaurants(meaning the biggies like Babbo and such)" over Christmas week...but how about some of the less "Known" restaurants like Zuni,Vita Pierre au Tunnel, Angus McIndoe. or Ciro? Should I call today for them or wait till later this week...we are in NYC this Friday. afternoon.

If they're popular with locals, call now. Restaurants are packed this time of year.

Enjoy NYC!

Play it safe and call the restaurant -- it never hurts to have the reservations; you'll probably need them anyway.

But be kind and call to cancel if you change your mind, even if it's only a couple hours before your scheduled arrival.
