I just returned from New York with my 17 year old daughter. We had an excellent time. Stayed at the Doubletree Suites in Times Square which was very nice. Saw the Statue of LIberty, Ellis Island, Ground Zero, did Central Park and shopping on 5th Avenue. Was surprised Sunday morning when we got out of our hotel to a flea market down Times Square. IS that a normal Sunday happening? We got some cool gifts. A man on the subway made sure we were going the right direction - looked on his PDA and even asked someone else for us. Went to Rent which we loved - we were 3 rows from the front and the Lion King which was excellent too. Would definitely go back again! Walking in Chinatown was like the whole population of our town walking done one street! What an experience. NYC is a great place!

If you were in NYC on Sunday May 26, that street fair on Seventh Avenue was there for just that day. But there are always streetfairs somewhere in NYC in the summer.

I just returned from two weeks in NYC and was very pleasantly surprised to see it was jammed with tourists. It's great to see everything bouncing back!
