Things have changed so much since we were putting Stonebriar together in the mid-80s. The developers were trying to lure JC Penney's corporate headquarters to some of their land....Penney's chose Plano rather than our client's tract in Frisco because Plano was giving financial incentives for corps. to move there and Frisco did not care a bit. (Now, Frisco is very agressive about attracting companies.) At the time, it was a big drawback that Stonebriar was in the Frisco school district..they tried to get in into Plano, but couldn't do it. (Now, Frisco has a very well respected school system.) Stonebriar is now close to so much....I used to literally drive on narrow asphalt roads through corn fields to get up there, before the Tollway expansion. But check out the 121 traffic on a busy day. I know they're working on it, but 121 is a bear.

OMG, that hwy 121 is a mess all right! But, I must say they are moving right along.I dont go much east past The Colony, since we dont seem to be able to realize the liquor cabinet is empty until we actually get home or to the hotel. And, since Carrollton has no liquor stores, well that only leaves the one in The Colony. But, there is always Walmart, Home Depot for nice shopping. And Golden Corral for eating! That is, if you dont get run over by an 18wheeler....Like all the locals say: "One ofthese days!"
