Rehobeth Accomodations
Would like to take a few days near the beach at a motel with an indoor pool sometime in March (during my son's spring vacation). Looks like Brighton Suites, Quality Inn, and AmericInn all have an indoor pool. Any suggestions as to which might be our best bet? Would also appreciate restaurant recommendations... These were a great help on a family trip to Charleston a few years ago!
Thanks!

I've stayed at the Brighton Suites a few times. The property is pretty well "worn in". We were there at the peak of summer, so weren't too picky about where we stayed, since we wouldn't be spending much itme in the room. Its a plus that its in town, so you can walk to shops/retaurants boardwalk, but if you plan to spend much time in your room, it may feel drab.
The other places you list are on Route 1, so you'd have to drive into town - haven't stayed their so I can't comment.
The Boardwalk Hotel is very nice, right on the ocean and has a small indoor pool -it'd be ideal - if you can swing it - unfortunately its probably the highest priced hotel in town.
Retaurants- in March alot of places in town will be closed. Family type restaurants - Grotto pizza is a must at the beach. Not sure how old your kids are, but try to check out the Cultured Pearl, it serves excellent sushi and japanase dishes - the kids can eat chicken teriaki, but a main draw is the Garden Room where koi fish swim at your feet and parakeets roost in the front window. Dos Locos has good mexican in town, as does La Tolteca on Route one. Jakes on Rte 1 has very good seafood.

We went to Rehobeth this weekend and stayed at the Brighton Suites because of its location and having an indoor pool. I don't know if it had been remodeled since Rumrita1 had been there, but the carpet seemed fairly new and it had recently been painted. The pool was rather small, and we didn't end up using it. But the weekend getaway special of $150 for two nights in March with 2 breakfasts each morning was quite a bargain. And it was just a block or two from the beach!
We enjoyed eating at Jake's seafood restaurant the first night, trying the rockfish (very good). Last night we went to Sydney's which we would highly recommend!
We look forward to going again sometime and trying some of the other restaurants!
Thanks again for the input.
P.S. We looked at the Boardwalk Hotel this morning, and it would be a great place to go if we didn't have 2 kids in college or for a special occasion.
