Red Tide Conditions in Naples- March 25th
I have many friends that recommend Naples for a family beach vacation.
We booked last-minute tickets for the week of March 25th flying into RSW and out of Miami.
Today I read that the Red Tide levels are currently very high.
I haven't booked accommodations yet and am looking for input as to whether I should revise our plans
and head to the keys instead.
I am traveling with 3 older teenagers. We are looking forwarded to beach time, golfing, and playing tennis in a family-friendly environment.
Looking for alternate recommendations.
Thank you for your input!

I have no idea what it will be like in 2 weeks, but here is the current FL map with most up to date readings across the state.

No one can tell you what the ride tide situation will be in the Naples area in two weeks. I can only comment that “right now” the ride tide is a big problem. There are dead fish everywhere and most people find themselves coughing and their eyes itching within minutes of walking anywhere near the beach. Fortunately, the air quality is much better once you get further inland so playing golf and tennis in areas away from the beach can be done without a problem (in fact, I played twice this past week). We are having house guests next week and have already advised them we won’t be going to the beach.
