Bodega Bay is on the coast in Sonoma--most well known for where Hitchcock filmed "The Birds". Small town, kinda of rustic. Any particular reason why you picked it?

Yes.. people coming from the East are landlocked and want to stay on the ocean....Bodega Bay is the easiest from Sonoma where they also want to do a day of wine tasting in Sonoma.

Well so long as you realize that it is a working fishing bay and very low keyed, I would look for places that are the South Harbor area or north of Bodega Harbor if you want to be on the ocean.

TDay=Thanksgiving Day ?
Could be major rain or warm and sunny.

Do know that the road between Bodega Bay and Sebastopol
is a windy 2 lane country road. After Sebastopol it becomes Hwy 12 through Santa Rosa. After Oakmont you are back to the windy 2 lanes on into the Kenwood area-where many of the Heart of Sonoma Valley wineries are located. These 2 lane
roads do not mix well with wine and rain.
The CHP has a visible presence here.

The trip between Bodega Bay via Bodega Hwy and Hwy 12
through Santa Rosa to the Kenwood area will
take about 1 hour.

That said here some houses to view.
