What are your interests?
My #1 reco would be to take a 100mi bike ride around all five boroughs of the city, but I'm not sure if that matches your interests.
other people will recommend to visit various museums, or see a show, or see historical sights, or any number of things.

Thanks guys! I'll be in New York City yes, and I like to be active, so the bike ride looks like a good option. I'll check out the TimeOut website - great.
I'd like to try to some craft beer as well. Anyone here interested in craft beer and would recommend 1-2 bars to check out?

The NYC Century ride info is posted HERE. The official /organized ride is Sept 8th, but you can find gps routes for the different distances 15, 35, 55, 75, or 100mi on Ride with GPS
