Recommendations for Moderately Priced Dining in Moab?
We would like to NOT break the bank. Price range $50-60 for two for dinner. That would be for one appetizer, two entrees, one dessert. (We usually share an appetizer and dessert.) Perhaps wine for one and a soft drink for the other. IOW - Moderate $$ choices. If there's anything actually cheap that's good, we're definitely open to that as well. (Duh!)
Is this possible?
We're pretty eclectic in our food choices.
Also, good cafe for late afternoon coffee/tea/pastry?

We went to the Mexican Restaurant and was not impressed, our marqarita's were $10.00pp! The second day we went to the Brewery and liked it: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restauran...Moab_Utah.html It seems to me, we also went to the grocery store and purchased fruit and bread and cheese for lunch. (We do that a lot

I got sick after eating at Moab Brewery.
Pasta Jay's was good and well priced.
Desert Bistro is a bit more $ but it wonderful.

Thanks. Will probably do most of our exploring Arches in the morning and late afternoon so I guess we'll also need to eat at a cafe at lunch time. Maybe take a swim in the pool at the hotel we're staying at in the heat of midday.

We really cant rave about anywhere we ate in Moab.
It was March and not everything was opened yet. Places also closed early!
We ate at Moab Brewery - it was fine. Didn't make it to the Bistro (you need reservations.)
We had dinner at Twisted Sistas. I liked it - my hubby really didnt enjoy.
We packed lunches to bring to the parks. We didnt want to leave once we were in - Arches and Canyonlands.

Sabaku in Moab offers some excellent sushi - a relatively light and refreshing meal in that hot desert climate. We've eaten there a few times, and it's always a great meal. We've enjoyed a fine meal at the Desert Bistro, but it is pricey - easily the most expensive option in town.
Although there are a bunch of dining options in Moab, we've not found many to rave about either (as MiamiBeachMomma mentioned above). Great breakfast (and excellent coffee - very important) at Red Rock Café and Love Muffin. Also, great food at the local food truck called Quesadilla Mobilia - open Thurs-Monday and parks right on the main drag. Very reasonable, fresh and delicious!
