Rail from DCA to Hilton Towers

Is it convenient to catch the rail at the Reagan station and get close to the Hilton Towers in Dupont Circle area? Thanks.

Yes. Take the yellow line to Gallery Place and switch for the Red line towards Shady Grove.

Well, see for yourself here http://tinyurl.com/m7rz

Just be sure to exit Dupont Circle at the north end - at Q St. It is about 5 blocks up Connecticut Ave to the Hilton from there.

Or take the Blue Line and transfer to the Red Line towards Shady Grove at Metro Center.

The Yellow seems and looks faster, but I generally just take whatever train comes by first.

A little advice from my past experience ... Don't do it during am or pm Rush Hours ... think Metro packed so much it's like a cattle car. I could barely get off at my stop ... it's funny now though.

Oh I forgot to mention we each had a wheel/luggage adding to the squeeze to get off...
