Question on the CLEAR Mobile App

Has anyone used this biometric app and how useful was it? Did it make screening easier and faster? Thinking of signing up at a friends recommendation through Amex, but wanted to see if anyone has used it and your thoughts. Thanks.

I'm not sure what you are asking.
Are you asking if we like using CLEAR at the airport? YES! Very much.
Are you asking if we loaded the app on our smartphones? No. I have not.

Thanks starrs, yes asking how useful it was at the airport. Sounds like a major time saver

DH and I have uploaded the CLEAR app onto our phones few months ago, it will suffice for NYC events, we will not be flying with it until November. Don't want to carry our CDC cards around. It also has an "exception" for Hawaii flights affiliated w most domestic airlines -- friends will be using it in October even though the Governor doesnt want any mainlanders there till November! I like the fact that my face must match up with everytime I turn it on, lest no chance of fraudulent use.

HUGE. Well, huge in Atlanta and Orlando. It varies by airport and not all airports have Clear. It makes life SO much easier. TSA Precheck can get backed up but Clear Precheck moves quickly with a short line, if any.

I find the eye recognition easier at the airport check-in than fingerprint.

I love it. Makes my life a lot easier.

Didn't know about the digital vaccine card option. Found a link. It looks like that is free. (Clear is not)

I got CLEAR because SFO and DEN both have it and those are the main airports we use. DH just finally got signed up after some problems with a cancelled trial membership and then a new membership (their computer kept showing it as cancelled). I found it a great timesaver.

If there's a mobile app I'll probably get it and especially if it can hold the proof of vaccines.
