Question for Long Beach expert!

Headed to LGB to work in a couple of weeks and I need to go to a Whole Foods while in CA.
Before anyone preaches about Whole Foods, yes, I know... we have them in Dallas. I specifically need to go there to get something they carry only in the CA market.

Now, my question... which store is the closest?

I will be going directly from the a/p at 10am on a Monday.

Woof-- this is a toughie. It's not just a question of distance, it's ease in getting there, particularly if you're not from the area. I'm inclined to think the Tustin location might be the winner on that criterion; the Torrance location on PCH might be a little tough to get to. Give me a sec to try mapping this for you, OK?

Torrance wins, it turns out! Directions:

-- Exit LGB, turn right on Lakewood (heading towards downtown LB), take I-405 N exit (toward Santa Monica).

-- Take the I-110 S interchange (it's a sweeper, be careful) toward San Pedro.

-- Take the PCH exit, turn right onto PCH, drive around 3 miles, look for Whole Foods!

Have fun.

I knew you would come through rjw!
Don't worry about me driving there... I am a crazy driver from Texas who can go neck to neck with the best So Cal drivers!
Really, I have been all over LA a thousand times and I find it very easy to navigate.
I always head to the West Hollywood location just because I like to have a drink and people watch while I am there...
So possibly the location itslef can be considered. I do have a few hours to kill.
How long does it take to get to Santa Monica from LGB? I could spend a few hours shopping there, too.

I'm curious - what do they have in the CA branches of Whole Paycheck that you can't get in TX?

Oh boy - straight to Torrance. Yee haw.

An imported cologne that costs 2x more if I have to get it on the internet.
No one else sells it and I have no desire to go from boutique to boutique tring to find another supplier when Whole Foods always has it in stock.
It takes an act of congress to get my local store to carry it as they require all sorts of market research documentation, etc...

If you're leaving LGB at 10 AM, I'm guessing that the drive to SM (all freeways, 405N to 10W) should be around 45 minutes, maybe a little less.
