Question for anyone familiar with Minneapolis....

Husband will be spending 2 weeks there on business. As a smoker, he is wondering if restaurants/bars have smoking sections??

With the frigid weather, I can't imagine that they would expect a smoker to go outside....but I could certainly be wrong. Please advise of the smoking policy. Thank you very much.

Some places have smoking sections, some don't. He will just have to check each restaurant individually. Certainly bars are most likely to have smoking sections, restaurants can be either way.

I live in Minneapolis, and yes a lot of smokers do stand outside and smoke even in the bitter cold. Be sure he brings a warm hat, coat and gloves.

In Minneapolis we smoke outside out of respect for non-smokers. If poor hubby gets too cold we will send him back inside minus his cigarette. We don't let the smokers freeze to death. Get some sleep honey.
