Probably about 10 years ago I followed a poster in Kauai that gave me so much valuable information. I have not been there for a long time but I am looking forward to another trip soon and was looking for some posts from her. I remember that she worked for possibly a radio station. She loved Kauai and gave me so many helpful hints.

I remember a poster from Hawaii as well who was also either a news reporter or on a radio program there but I thought she was located in Honolulu.
I do not remember her name though. She was very helpful.

I think you are referring to AuntyMaria who had an early morning radio show. I have not seen her post on here in a year or more, Kal (another frequent Kauai contributor along with songdoc) may have info on her.

auntiemaria still lives on Kauai and still does two shows a week on KKCR radio. I believe she can be found on facebook.
