quasi-speakeasy in NYC?
I may have been drunk ;-) but I thought I read that there is a bar in NYC where you enter a hot dog shop and then walk to the back, enter a vintage phone booth, and somehow gain entrance to the bar, a la' The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe magic portal closet or something? Am I crazy?
Also, anyone know of any other cool spots like this? I've heard of Chumley's, and the Campbell Apartment in Grand Central Terminal, but what others?

Ahh, that's PDT: from NY Mag's site:
PDT is the hot-dog joint for grown-ups. Actually, it’s the cocktail-lounge annex to Crif Dogs, an East Village mainstay known for its deep-fried Jersey-style franks. Accessed through a vintage phone booth within Crif Dogs, PDT (short for Please Don’t Tell) is a snug, sexy speakeasy with a twist: Along with its high-quality classic cocktails and a well-chosen selection of beer and wine, patrons can order food from Crif’s kitchen next door . . .
Crif Dogs is at 113 St. Marks Place between 1st and A
