Just wondering if anyone has stayed at Quality Inn Hotel on Roosevelt in Key West. Wondering if the price is right? Amy

Can't speak of the hotel in particular but the location is lousy. Roosevelt is busy and it is a drive to Old Town where parking is at a premium. Old Town in the place to be in Key West. If you are looking for a clean, moderately priced hotel try the Best Western Hibiscus in Old Town. Within waling distance.

I agree with Bill. Roosevelt Road is the busiest street in Key West. It's filled with strip malls and fast food restaurants and isn't within walking distance of anything interesting. Look into staying in Old Town. There are lots of options in all different price ranges. Try keywestparadise.com

If this is the one that is just inside Key West (end of the bridge) I've stayed there and found it to be really a good deal. I was only there for the weekend so I drove into Old Town and parked the car and walked. The hotel is cheaper because of its location but there is also a Holiday Inn right across the street that is priced right too.

Amy, you have really chosen a horrible hotel. It is dirty and off the beaten path and grossly over priced. Try something better, you deserve it.

I don't know what kind of price you got, but when we went there a year ago, I found the bed and breakfasts in Old Town to be very reasonably priced, especially when you consider the location, ambiance, and the breakfast.

I priced the Hampton on Roosevelt and they were only about 10 dollars less than the B and B we stayed in.

The breakfast alone was worth it. Home-made rolls and fresh fruit by the pool in a tropical garden vs. eating in the motel lobby.

if you can afford a place in Old Town..go for it...most of the Roosevelt places are old and run down ieays Inn----too far out of Old Town...a pain to drive to....

Actually the Fairfied Inn on Roosevelt is nice and clean, they just openned suites across the street.
