Pyramid or Tower @ Luxor

I am going to be staying that the Luxor in August with a good size group. The hotel has given me a choice of staying in a pyramid room or a tower room (both standard rooms). Since I have never been there before, I was hoping I could get some input here. Thanks in advance.

I just booked rooms at the Luxor for employees attending a convention and they all said to book the tower rather than the pyramid. Several people mentioned the rooms in the pyramid are smaller. I got good prices booking online and when my husband checked in they offered him an upgrade to a suite for an extra $50.00 a night. He said it was a very nice room.

The pyramid is cool though. The rooms have a sloping window. It's also fun to ride the "inclinator" rather than a plain old elevator.

The tower rooms are much nicer than the pyramid. Larger and more modern. I felt very closed in with the sloping walls of the pyramid.

Thanks for the great input. My co-traveler wants to stay in the tower. I will have to try the pyramid on the next trip. =)
