Put Your OCTOBER 2004 Travel Plans Here!
Ok, we have done this before...let's try it again. How this works is you share...as you wish... your OCTOBER travel plans here. If you are taking a day trip or a overnight feel free to share.
I started this October Thread on The Europe Board. Feel free to post there too if you want. I have...so if you want to see what we are doing travel wisw in October click over.
In the past this USA thread has not been as active for this kind of post and the Europe thread on this subject has been "too" active resulting in it being terminated. Let's see what happens...
Have fun!

Ok, I'll play...for the first time we are going to Big Sky, Montana. We will do Yellowstone(the parts we can)while the crowds are not there. During the week, we will also drive down to Worland, Wyoming and possibly over to Casper and/or Cody.
This October vacation is October 23rd-November 1st.

I'll jump in... Ray and I are off to a big family campout at Chickasaw National Recreation Area near Sulpher, OK. It's this week-end (Oct 1, 2 & 3). Can't wait to get out of the city!
We are tent camping, but Dad is bringing his RV. Anyone ever do a baked Alaska dessert in an RV oven?

We're leaving Saturday for a week in Maine to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, staying in Portland, Bar Harbor and my sister-in-law's cottage on Lake Damariscotta. We've come a long way from our two-day honeymoon, when we wanted to go to NYC but couldn't afford it. We stayed at a Howard Johnson's in Secaucus NJ and took the bus into Manhattan!

Oh Faina...that just is not fair, lol! We had a log home in upstate NY and the fall was absolutely amazing! After the leaves fell, we had huge leaf piles that our entire family would jump in Here about all I could do is jump in a puddle, lol!
