Punta Gorda to Sarasota

Is there any ground transporation from the Charlotte Airport to Sarasota without having to rent a car?

You might could get a shuttle, but it's a pretty long drive depending on where you are headed in Sarasota. For example, the airport to downtown is around 50 miles. Is there a particular reason you don't want to rent a car?

Maybe price an off airport location in Port Charlotte and cab it to it. Not sure if there will be a difference. I doubt there is a shuttle.

Flying Direct Air? Took it last year from Worchester and it was great.

Oh....

I chose the wrong word - I didn't mean a shuttle, but a limo service/cab type of thing.

Someone in another newer post (th title is something like "car rent ideas in FL wow prices are high)gave the suggestion of using Auto Europe to get a lower price. There were also some suggestions for finding promo codes, etc. - check it out.

If you're still looking I can recommend a great car service. Not sure how much he will charge, but he's very reliable, has few different cars/drivers, including a stretch RR, (a beautiful way to travel). He's based out of Sarasota.
