puerto rico

Thinking of taking a trip to Puerto Rico. Would appreciate any tips on hotels, sights to see, restaurants....

I would recommend you going into the rainforest or possibly going into some underground river trip. If nature stuff is not your style you can go to some Bacardi rum tastings or getting a tan at the cool beaches. If you do go into the rainforest, some tours lead you to the natives and they make you some food to eat, which is really good!

It's hard to give you ideas if we don't know your interests.
Visit Old San Juan and the forts there. Spend a day at Luquillo Beach and buy food from the vendors there.
You say how long you will be there so again, it's hard to give advice.

You'll likely also have better results on the Carib board. Depending on the time you have, visits to Vieques &/or Rincon. Also make sure you visit El Yunque (the rain forest).
