Proposing to my girlfriend in Key West

Hello everyone,

I am going to propose to my girlfriend this winter (end of December) and I thought that Key West would be a good place to do it (we live in Miami).

Does anyone have a good suggestion for a romantic hotel / inn to get a room at. I was thinking 3-4 nights.

Thanks

We stayed at the Marquesa and really loved it - charming, good location, good restaurant, and a nice pool area. Congratulations!

Marquesa & the Heron House would also be my first two suggestions. The Pilot House (in the same area) also comes to mind.

Jasmine House, a half block off Duval. The Victorian home is beautifully decorated and offers a suite with a large private deck and hot tub.

Good luck!

I strongly suggest you look into the Gardens Hotel. It's probably the most popular hotel in Key West at the moment and I don't think I've ever seen a bad review of it. The location is great, too! gardenshotel.com

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Marina Resort & Spa last spring. It is really nice that it's right on the beach.

I believe it was rated 4 star, but since it is not super large, it does not have all the amenities of a large 4 star high rise.
