I'm planning a trip to yellowstone for summer (2024). I'm planning to stay two nights at OF and two nights either in Mammoth Hot Springs or Canyon. It seems that I would prefer to stay in Canyon. However, I plan to maybe book a private wildlife tour and it seems that they all do pick-ups in Mammoth but not Canyon. Is this true or do most also pick-ups in Canyon albeit maybe for an extra fee?

I would contact the tour company and ask them about pick up arrangements.

A lot can change in a year, but definitely talk with the tour company/companies.

Canyon is far from a main entrance. The private companies are coming from outside the park. But you can always call to ask.
