Bryce Canyon - Stone Canyon Inn

Hi-

Were going to be visiting Bryce Canyon in the fall, and have reservations at Stone Canyon Inn "http://www.stonecanyoninn.com".

Has anyone stayed there? Like to see if anyone has advise about this inn, or if there are alternative locations to stay.

Thanks!

Bringing this back up to the top; has anyone stayed there? (Or perhaps the original poster can now report back!)We are considering it for this spring. Thank you.

Don't know it and couldn't access the website (I tried). I stayed at the lodge last year, in the park, and loved it. As far as I know, the closest other accommodations are 12 miles away. The reason I liked being in the park so much was that I could walk out my door 2 minutes before sunrise or sunset with my coffee or bottle of wine and enjoy the view. Since Bryce is so remote from any other attraction, I don't see any advantage in staying outside the park-- unless cost is a factor or you have children who might like a pool, etc. Bryce Canyon is fabulous! It's one of the most scenic trips I've ever taken.

This is somewhat late for a response, but I wanted to let everyone know that we did indeed stay there and the accomodations are fantastic.

After checking out the website, I'm curious which room would you reccomend? We are thinking about going in mid/late September.

Sandy, when you say you stayed at the "lodge last year, in the park"...what lodge are you speaking of? Thanks!
