Pre-theater dinner near August Wilson theater?

My wife and I will be in NYC in March for our anniversary and will be seeing Jersey Boys on Tuesday the 12th. It starts at 7 pm and we are staying at the Plaza Athenee on 64th so I am wondering if anyone can give us a good recommendation for a pre-theater venue either near the theater or someplace in between the theater and our hotel.
Also, would a 5:30 pm reservation give us adequate time to eat and make it before curtain time?

Questions:
How much do you want to spend?
What type(s) of food?
There are hundreds of restaurants to choose from within the distance parameters you've given.
As for the time of your reservations, 6 will be fine of you're near the theater, 5:30 if it's closer to your hotel.

HowardR: price not really an issue for us. Food can be most anything. We enjoy Italin, seafood, steaks (although that be a bit heavy to have just before sitting at a theater for a couple hours) again, most anything. We are going to be eating at the hotel restaurant (Arabelle) when we get in and are going to "One if by Land, Two if by Sea" on Monday for our anniversary dinner so perhaps something different from those two.
From it's address I think Patsy's might be in that area. Would that be a good choice?

For Italian, there's several excellent ones to recommend, including:
Remi on West 53rd, between 6th & 7th.
Lattanzi on West 46th, between 8th & 9th.
Orso, also on West 46th between 8th & 9th.

Thanks, those recommendations all sound good. Checked websites and I think Remi sounds like it would most likely be our first choice from the three you mentioned.

Samschack,
You might also look at opentable.com
You can search restaurants by location, see photos, and even view the menus.
You are going to love Jersey Boys. I'm going to see it for the second time in April.

For a 7pm curtain, I think you'd be better off with a 5:30 dinner reservation to avoid being rushed.

spring212 is right. I forgot that Tuesday performances start at 7. If you decide on Remi, I'd get there by 5:15.
