The Chophouse is very good but high end -- expensive. Not the right place to get in the mood for a game. I like the Wazee Supper Club - great pizzas and other things, nice salads, and fun place to start the game. Croc's -- Mexican -- on Market is fun.

Hi ~ we enjoy the Rodizio Grill on Wynkoop, within walking distance of the stadium..Brazilian food/skewers of beef, lamb, chicken+, and an impressive salad bar. About $32.00 per person.

I hope this isn't TMI, but I posted below the dinner menu for the Chophouse. Mainly because it is so close to the stadium, and has consistently good food. Also has a bar menu for burgers and sandwiches.
It is not cheap, but I think it's well-priced, because they include a salad and starch:
"All Classics served with our ChopHouse salad and choice of baked potato, White Cheddar mashed potatoes, seasoned fries or wild rice pecan pilaf."

PeaceOut, have no idea why you thought it was necessary to post the meau unless you have a financial interest in the Chophouse. No one questioned the quality of The Chophouse just the "fun" aspect which you yourself questioned. And as I suggested earlier, it is one of the last places I would recommend for anyone to go for a fun start to a ballgame. All of the other recs are much better. Now if you want a nice dinner after the game, then that is a whole another discussion.

It's not a rowdy place, except the front bar area can be loud when a big game is playing. It is a relatively casual place, however.
It couldn't be closer to Coors stadium, too.
