Pottstown, PA? I spent some some time there when I was in high school back in the 70's, and at that time there was nothing much to do, other than hanging out by the Hill School, hoping to meet some rich boys. I think our favorite weekend activity was taking the train into Philadelphia. Hopefully the town has picked up since 1976!

I taught a graduate course there at the high school a couple of summers ago. Sad to say, I don't think it was much improved from the 70s! They put me up at a nondescript Days Inn, and I had a hard time finding a place to get a decent lunch or dinner.

We used to eat at the classic Royal Diner at the end of High street.

Not much going on right in Pottstown, but you won't be very far from King of Prussia and Valley Forge Park. Just hop on Rt. 422 and you'll be there in no time.
