Has anyone any experience of this place? Good, bad, tips, etc.

I have not stayed there, have just been past it. It is east of the east entrance to the park which means it's at the higher altitude. It would be a little bit of a drive to the valley floor.

Thanks. When you say a bit of a drive - what are we talking?

Is this the place where they also have ATVs to rent and trails to ride them on?

Hi DiJ,

It would be about 1/2 hour to drive down to the Zion canyon from the Ponderosa Ranch, maybe more. I'm not sure how far off the highway it is and if the tunnel is operating one-way for large vehicles (which it does off and on) then it take be longer.

I don't know if they have ATVs for rent. I'm on of those people who dislike motorized travel in the wilderness, ATV or snowmobile. Too noisy and you never see the wildlife because you scared them away.

I would imagine they have a web site. Good luck and have fun!
