Pompano Beach Paradise Resort
I know from reading reviews that this resort is old and not a "5 Star" resort. My only concern is cleanliness and safety. We are two families with 3 kids each and a set of grandparents, looking for a clean relatively inexpensive place for fun in the sun during Easter vacation. Any comments? Thanks in advance!

We stay in the area with friends and I have never heard of the Paradise Resort.
There was a recommendation on another thread about Lighthouse Cove on Pompano Beach. We drove past it and it looks pretty nice. Here is the url: lighthousecove.com.

If you are getting inexpensive rates for the peak moneymaking week for South Florida, I think that may be telling you something.
I guess what is relative is what you consider inexpensive.
If they are quoting you $75 per night for a kitchenette, I'd be concerned and start doing serious research.
Try TripAdvisor.com and Epinions.com for starters.

This place does not have very good reviews. Try the Lighthouse cove-the prices are very reasonable and you can get a 1 or 2 bedroom. It is a timeshare right on the beach and they rent out units by the night also.We stayed there a few months ago.
