Has anyone been to this center? Is it worth going to? Should we just pay for general admission, or should we include dinner, show, or all three? Thanks.

You know, if you want to go, just go. If you've never been, you could love it, some people do. I've been twice, and that was two, too many times as far as I'm concerned and I won't go ever again. I think it's way over priced for everything. I went to the luau and the food was gross.

So, like many things, this is MHO. Some people really like it, so in the end you need to just go if you want to. If you don't like it, then, like me, just don't go back.

Oh, I forgot, if you are not inclined to indoctrination, be careful if you do a tour because on some of them you will get the "Morman speil". That's part of the "program" that I don't much appreciate.

We've been to Oahu 3 times.
Best place for a fabulous, over-the-top Sunday Brunch is the Hale Koa military hotel/resort on Waikiki.
It has always received great reviews-be prepared to take a nap afterwards-the carbs will kill you. Divine!

Just remember that no alcohol is served. That may affect how you think about the dinner show.

I agree with crefloors comment. We had people come to our door back home on the east coast to continue their indoctrination so don't give your home contact info on any forms.

I have a different opinion. I thought is was fun seeing the different villages representing the Polynesian culture: Fiji, Samoa, Tahiti etc. The food was OK, not any better or worse than any other Luau. We thought the evening show was great. We never had anyone approach us regarding LDS or anyone show up at our home.

I first went in 1979 and then again in 2003 and enjoyed both visits.

Of course, in 1979, I went with a group from college. They awarded me the "Tourista Award" at the end of the trip for being the biggest "tourist".

Its very expensive and totally NOT worth it... its HOT, you are in the sun all day waiting for shows to start, the food is ordinary, and many of the performers appear at Luaus and other Free shows on the Island... it was $240 for 4 admissions and we saw the same dancers at Hilton Hawaiian Village friday show along with fireworks... pick a great Luau and get a better show...

Been twice, and in my opinion, its a place that you MUST go to once. The evening show was spectacular, the grounds are very nice. I found the "educational" aspect to be very interesting, and the costumes impressive.
The Luau we went to there was just OK, as was the food.
Maybe PCC is not everyone's cup of tea, but overall, it was well worth it to us.

PCC is a must.

They have the best Polynesian entertainment in Hawaii.

And it is not any more expensive than any other luau venue.

The evening show, Ha: Breath of Life is what makes PCC better than any other luau venue. No other Polynesian show comes close to this one. So get a package that includes the evening show.

We loved PCC and spent most of the day and evening there. The drive up was amazing in itself - we got there around 1:00. There were movies and live shows to see including the canoe pageant which was wonderful. We chose to do the luau package - it was our first luau - and enjoyed the "teaching" aspect of it. The nighttime show "Ha Breath of Life" was absolutely incredible - the best show we saw during our 3 week visit.

The Entertainment book had a great coupon - I think it was buy one admission get one free or maybe it was half off. Anyway it saved us $45 which was more than the cost of the book. I wouldn't rush back for a second visit, but thoroughly enjoyed our first visit there - I think it's a "must see".
