Please recommed golf near Vanderbuilt Beach for under 75.00ea

Our son and his wife are coming to visit us in March in Naples. We are in the Vanderbuilt Beach Road area. Please recommend a public golf club that the fees are in the area of 75.00 each or under. Thank you in advance.

Naples is expensive and the golf there is outrageous. I did see a couple of miniature golf courses there and I think the charge to play will be just under your budget.

Good one, xxx, and not far from the truth.
I'm not a golfer and my friends who are belong to private courses. I do know that Naples claims to have more golf courses per capita than any other place in the US, but most are private clubs as you probably know. I did a search via Google and "discover Naples" and found quite a list of public ones, but in March the lowest price I could find was something like $93 per person (not counting cart rental, etc.)

Maybe you need to find a good realtor at one of the golf course communities, act interested in buying, and see if they can get you a complimentary tee time. (Actually I'm only kidding, but is that so different from the freebies people go for at the Timeshare places?)

Drive up to Fort Myers. Fort Myers Country Club is not really a club and can meet your requirements but it is sort of a nothing course. There is a very nice course further afield on Pine Island (remote) that is like a wild life tour with Eagles, Osprey, Wood Storks etc. sharing the course with you. Think it is called Alden or something. Golf in Naples is very costly and March is the peak of season. Patrick is right.

My Uncle from Michigan visits the Naples area every year in the winter months. He likes to golf in Cape Coral, but I do not know wwhich course he does this outing. He is a golf nut, btw. I'm sure a search might help you.

Happy Tails,
Paul
