Please help with Mount Snow lodging

Party of 5 people including 8 and 16 year old kids will be in Mount Snow on Dec 24, 25.
I've selected few places to stay, can anybody give me info about those places?
Kitzhof Inn (West Dover)
Austing Hill Inn(West Dover)
West Dover Inn
The Mountainear Inn(West Dover)
White house of Wilmington (not a main house, it's guest house next door)
Snow Lake Lodge.
What kids can do in evening?
Are there less people on slopes on Xmass day?
Thanks for you help. Mariya

I have stayed at the West Dover Inn; it is very charming and the owners are wonderful. They have a gourmet restaurant which is great. Most of the rooms are really meant only for 2 people, though they do have one larger room designed for families (not sure what the max occupancy is). The rooms have TV's in them (some inns only have TV in the common rooms); but not a private phone. If you haven't already checked, you might want to be sure they don't have a minimum stay of more than 2 nights, since it's a holiday. Have you considered one of the Mt Snow condos? Also, the Snow Lake Lodge is not that nice - I wouldn't bother unless you really need to economize. As for evenings, there is a small movie theater in the area. Not sure what else there is for kids.

NO!!! the Austrian Haus is NOT a nice place to stay!!! Paper thin walls, no phones, old furniture. Felt creepy and smelly-I couldn't wait to leave!

Avoid the Snow Lake lodge. More like a college dorm w/partying 20 soemthings than like a lodge.
