places to visit during the Thanksgiving weekend

I am looking for suggestions on places to visit during the Thanksgiving weekend with my wife and my son. Thinking about a week long trip to a place with moderate temperatures, on a fringe budget and with a 1-year old.

California could turn out to be pretty expensive. Any other places with natural beauty and stuff that you could typically enjoy with a toddler in tow )

Your suggestions/ advice is greatly appreciated.

TIA

Where are you coming from? Do you want to drive to your destination? What about San Antonio? Riverwalk and Sea World is fun for both parents & toddlers, and I'm sure there are other places nearby that you would consider "natural beauty".

Florida would be a great destination.
The weather is usually nice that time of year.

I am based in Dallas.
I have already been to San Antonio and the riverwalk. Moreover, I think Sea World is closed during late november.

Santa Fe?
I think some people here have done San Diego on a fringe budget.
