places to stay near Old Town
Does anyone have any suggestions regarding places to stay close to Old Town/Albuq? Am visiting in Sept & would prefer a place within "safe" walking distance. With a new baby I need to be able to return to the facility on my own for naps etc. Although I am not a great fan of B&B's, am willing to consider them. Would like to keep the prices w/in $150. I am not that familiar with the area although I visited Old Town years ago.
Thank you.
Thank you.

There aren't a lot of choices. The Hotel Albuquerque is at Rio Grande just north of Mountain; it's probably the closest for you. There is a Best Western at Rio Grande and I-40, a little farther north, and an Econo Lodge on Central a block or two west of Rio Grande.
There are a couple of B&Bs as well - Casa de Suenos on Rio Grande just south of Central and the Bottger Mansion - actually, this one is the closest of all your lodging choices.

Thanks for the info. Do you know anything about the Old Town Bed and Breakfast? I am more strongly considering a B&B. Hotel Alburq. looks great, but more than what I am hoping to spend.

Lee Ann has given you the hotel options.
Here are B&B's in area. Keep in mind that some B&B's don't permit children.

Thanks Deb. We really want to be close to OT, so I realize our options are limited. I am leaning towards Old Town B&B as it looks like it may be the closest. So difficult to judge via web photo's. Carol
