Those are prime Florida months so if you plan to stay any place with water, it will be pricey. Can be anywhere from $1500 to $5000 (or more) a month, depending on location. (I live in Naples). I think it all depends on what you are looking for. Weather only or things to do, age of people in area, etc. Alone or with a family? Maybe some more info would help posters offer suggestions.
Good luck!

We did this for last winter and I checked out www.realtor.com and looked for realtors in the area we wanted to be in and emailed/called them about rentals. Also did a search for 'rentals' and found another realtor that rented us a nice house w/pool for 3 months in the Ft. Myers area. We had our daughter check it out for us and had a wonderful winter. We are now building in the same area. Email me if you would like more information.

Hi John,
My suggestion would be to look at st. Pete/clearwater area. Best kept secret in Florida. The prettiest beaches, easy to fly into, metro area that has arts, sports and easy day trips . Cost of living is a lot less than most areas in Florida. And guess what? we have the same sun as everyone else.
