Pizzaria Uno/Due
My family is going to Chicago Easter/Passover weekend 2003.
Trying to convince the grandparents to not keep Kosher for passover and dive in and have a Chicago deep dish pizza.
We have been to Uno's in Kendall, Fort Lauderdale (both closed), Orlando, Baltimore, Burlington, Charlotte and Madison. We are huge fans!
Is the menu pretty much the same as pizzaria uno/due. Is there a difference between the two? How close are they to each other? When is the bst time to go on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday?

There is no comparison between Uno/Due and the Uno's franchises throughout the country. My friend in the area favors Due (although others swear by Uno) so that's the one i've been to (twice).
After eating at Due, i've returned to the local franchise seeking the taste i experienced in Chicago, and they're not even in the same league, let alone ballpark! It has a taste you can't get anywhere but Chicago.

While I've not been to Due, I agree with the poster above that Uno's of Chicago is nothing like the franchise joints. Don't get me wrong, I think the franchises are ok, they just do not compare to the original. However, be prepared that at the original, it has very little in common with the franchise joints. PS: I was recently in Chicago and on the advice of others ate at Giordano's. Again, the pizza was ok but not as good as the original Uno's in my opinion. However, if you like the franchise Uno's you might prefer Giordano's because it's a complete ripoff/replica of a franchise Uno's.

The menus are not the same, but...
will you be able to get the 4 Cheese pizza w/ tomato... YES
will you be able to get skins... probably not
It's a good thing you already know what you want, because when you give your name to the host/hostess, they also take your pizza order!
If you like the chain, you MUST try Uno or Due.
