Picking site for best buy for hotel in Atlanta

It's driving me crazy..going from Orbitz,Wyndom,Marriot,hotels.com,
I just can't figure out which is the best site....the companysites seem more $$..Going for two nights Friday and Saturday and need to be in theNortheastside, near Lenox or Buckhead...Would stay at an all suites or residential..don't want to pay over$85.00....help... Which is best site and what is the difference with Marriot Residence or Garden or courtyard?

Hey Parrot Mom. I have been using new site hotels.com and it worked on two destinations very well. Keep trying; I live in Buckhead and chances are majority of Buckhead & Lenox will be booked this weekend at this price range? Good Luck, if you become frantic I know a place downtown that might be available at a good rate.

Hey ramjet,
I'm searching for the same type place. What is your suggestion for downtown. Any budget hotels in the area that stand out to you?
Thanks

FINALLY...just booked through www.lodging.com the mid-town Wyndom....exact location we were looking for... There were less expensive deals..but needed mid-town..whew and a decent price...king sized bed, no-smoking and close to where I need to be... Lenox and Buckhead were choices two and three...Word about the Perimeter area was to AVOID..lol

Glad you found one! Living on outskirts of town in Buckhead I travel to Perimeter and area quite a lot. Not as bad as people make it out to be. But I am used to it. Have fun here, if I can answer any question you may have, please feel free to ask. Headed to moutains this weekend. grem8473 Peachtree Plaza has good deals, check them out. They recently went through 30 million dollar reno. Nice and a landmark so to speak, if you can call a tall glass cylinder that! Negotiate with them.
