Picasso exhibit April-June

For those of you traveling to NYC between April and June, the Gagosian Gallery on W. 21st is having a Picasso exhibit. http://www.gagosian.com/exhibitions/...marie-therese/
Last summer this gallery presented the excellent exhibit of Monet and his waterlilies.

I'll be staying in Chelsea in May so will definitely include this gallery in our list of things to see. One of our party is a long time Picasso fan so she was very excited when I suggested we go and see this exhibition.

Thank you for posting.

Thank you for the link. I just read an article in Vanity Fair about Picasso's relationship w/ Marie-Therese and this is a must-see for my daughter and me next month!

PICASSO: Masterpieces from the Musée National Picasso, Paris is now in Australia. The Picasso exhibition is showcasing at the Sydney Art Gallery for the first time ever

I'm not sure if it is the same as the exhibition at the Gagosian Gallery but it has been receiving great reviews from art critiques around Australia!

Hi Sarah-Jane, they are different exhibitions. Based on happytrvlr's recommendation I saw the gagosian exhibition when I was in NYC in May and as I live in Sydney I couldn't wait to see the Art Gallery of NSW's exhibition. Both were fabulous although very different from each other. The one that is in Sydney covers most of his life and is presented in chronological order. The one in NYC focused on one particular period.
