Phoenix/Scottsdale Resort Hotel

Hey there, DH & I are going to Sedona the 21-25th, flight home is at 9:40 AM so we're thinking a hotel in Phoenix the night before would be a good idea. Can anyone recommend a nice, romantic hotel w/ spa (we want a massage) and possibly a jacuzzi tub in the room??? We're looking for a great last night to our vacation! Thanks for all help!

Sanctuary on Camelback fits the bill, beautiful hotel, good food at Elements, spa, great view of Camelback BUT the prices are sky high most of the time. Check out their website to see what the prices look like for your timeframe. As it is spring training season the rates aren't likely to be low. I have found lower prices for Sanctuary on Expedia and Orbitz than on their own website.

If you can pay a bit more, I just got a promotional email today from Sheraton Wild Horse Pass resort and spa in south Phoenix (the south side of Phoneix where the aiport is; this is 10 min. to the airport). They are offering rooms at $289 for Easter weekend, March 24-28; usual rates are about $400. Exceptional place, on Indian reservation land. Very quiet and privately located, beautiful, mountain views, incredible spa (Aji), private balconies or patios (no one can see onto your balcony, w/loveseat and table and chair). No jacuzzi tubs in those rooms, but very nice big deep soaking tubs, separate bath and glass exclosed shower, lovely Native American decor. Two great restaurants, Kai and Kos'in- you can eat outside at both to watch the sunetr or stars, w/heaters out there if needed- although it was so nice while I was there for the second time last week that people were swimming in the pools. This is not like the Scottsdale resorts- one pool does have a small slide but during the year it is an "adult" hotel. Wonderfully romantic IMO. And golf and equestrian center also. But very very quiet and peaceful and tasteful. Check the tripadvisor.com reviews.

The 21st to 25th of what? March? I really don't think you're going to get that kind of price if it's March or April or May for that matter. I strongly rec. The Royal Palms in Phoenix. Gorgeous place.

Ever considered Priceline bidding? Your $200 could go pretty far there perhaps and you can pick star rating and or resort. We have had the best of luck with PC.
