Phoenix Area Hotel with Mountain View

We are looking for a quiet, spacious room in the Phoenix area (15-60 minutes from PHX) with balcony and mountain view. We are considering places such as Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs and Marriott at McDowell Mountains, but I have read that the first hotel has dated rooms and that the second one has airport noise. Have you stayed at either of these hotels? Do you have other ideas?

Montelucia is too far out for me. We, LOVE The Royal Palms Resort. Get a terrace room, on second floor. They were having Cyber Monday sale, may still be on. It is an absolutely magnificent hotel with top of line staff, decor, food and ambiance. We have stayed on 3 different occasions and each was perfect. So a is heavenly too.

I believe there are mountain views from the Arizona Biltmore. The main building was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. If you like his work, it's interesting to see details up close.

Thank you. Royal Palms and the Omni aren't available for our dates. We booked room with breakfast at Arizona Grand Resort.

I think you've already gone but I love Taliesin West and the night tour is amazing. One can imagine the home being all by itself out in the desert. The stars are fabulous!
