Phoenix: Any ideas for a one month rental

We need to stay for a month in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area in Feb/March. I'm thinking of looking at the extended stay type of hotel/motels, but maybe there are condo rentals, as there are in Hawaii.

Anyone know of anything like this?

Thanks.

Taylor

I'd look at vrbo.com.
I'd avoid extended stay hotels (my preference).

I started looking at vrbo.com. I don't have to be in Scottsdale or Phoenix directly, just near it....and we don't play. We will have to rent a car.

Too bad vrbo didn't have a feature where you could put in your dates and only the one's available came up. So far, all the ones that I have looked at are booked solid for Feb and March.

Since there are only 2 of us, I don't need a 3 bedroom condo. I'll keep looking, but didn't want to spend $3000+

Hi tmt ~ If you didn't have any luck with vrbo.com, perhaps you will find something on:

www.vacationrentals.com

or

www.rentalo.com

Good luck with your search!

Presumably you realized that February and March are the highest season months because that is when several major league baseball teams are in the Phoenix/Tucson area for spring training.

(lol, starry)

tmt ~ Let us know if you have any luck. I checked out the site that Greenhouse provided and they did have 13 properties with availability for Feb (I didn't check March).

Good luck, let us know what you decide!

Thanks. cyberrentals.com seemed to have more of what I could afford.

I really appreciate all of your help.

I have a condo in Fountain Hills, AZ which is east of Scottsdale. Its a great little town that has a 20,000 acre regional park to the north and two Native American reservations to the east and south. Great little friendly community of 10,000 full timers which swells to 30,000 in the winter.

Get on www.fountainhillsguide.com to see pictures, get lots of info and find out the history of the fountain (claims to be the highest in the world when all 3 pumps are on).

There is an 80 yr old man in my development who handles leases for owners. They are usually a minimum of one month, no pets, no smoking. High season months are just under $2000/mo for a two bedroom. Its a small complex so I don't know if he has any available but email me if you are interested in his phone number [email protected]
