Philly itinerary help, please
Hi,
I appreciate all the information on this forum! My SO and I are looking forward to this trip - 3 days, 2 nights at the end of June. I have a list of the things we'd like to do and see but need some help to determine 1. What to keep and what to eliminate and 2. What order (based on proximity to each other and length of time needed) to do things in. Thank you for any guidance!
We will be staying at the Morris House Hotel. The uncut list, in no particular order, is as follows:
Rocky statue
Indep Hall
Reading Terminal Market and/or Italian Market
Rodin Museum
Simone Auto Museum
Magic Gardens
Liberty Bell
Delaware River Waterfront
Longwood Gardens
Thank you!

The end of June means that Philadelphia will be gearing up for the Fourth of July. Events in the Wawa Welcome America programming begin June 19.

in your list, Longwood Gardens is the outlier. You may find it convenient to include the gardens on your arrival or departure day. Time needed there depends on your interests, of course. See their website for a map and schedule of special performances, featured elements, and fountain displays.

In addition to the website of the Independence National Park, this one gives a good explanation of its high points. Reading Terminal Market is about six blocks away.

Some tourists find the Philly Phlash a good way to get around. (I have never tried it.)

There will also be some FIFA matches taking place in Philadelphia the end of June so be ready for crowds and traffic.
