Please don't take offense, but this hotel has been discussed at great length just recently, so I would suggest that you take a few moments to do a search, and then come back if you have some specific questions that were not clarified. It makes no sense not to take advantage of all the efforts everyone has already made in discussing this subject. That being said, the general consensus has been that the Pennsyolvania Hotel is a very poor choice, and you can and should do better elsewhere.

Wyn, heed Judy's advice - start looking for another hotel! The Pennsylvania has a reputation for being dirty and run down (even though you may read about "renovations"). Is there a reason you wanted this particular location, or are you open to other suggestions? Let us know your price range and desired location and we'll see what we can come up with.

I too am going to New York in a few days. I did some research and found that the there are better places to stay than the Pennsylvania. Try going to www.my-hotel-reservation.com for special rates. We just booked a room that would normally be $300-600 for just $114 per night. Also, Expedia has some great rates too.
