Wow! Are your exes really in arrears?
South Carolina doesn't play around. My husband, who has never ever once been behind in his child support, had a warrent issued for his arrest because of a clerical mistake.
He had to spend an entire day in court and when his name came up, the judge apologized to him and he went on his way.
Are you going through the court system? State lines do not stop them.

My ex is in another state and I'm going through my state's child support enforcement agency.
They've been somewhat successful in getting me small amounts of money here and there, but it's rarely enough to cover his current month's support amount, nevermind the arrears that keeps building.
Currently the problem is that he now owns his own business, so there is no disinterested employer to garnish wages from.
He's gone in for contempt hearings a couple of times, but he continues to not pay unless forced to.

Sounds great to me. It's amazing the number of people (mostly men I'm afraid) who create children and then feel no responsibility towards them.
I'm on the board of my co-op and we turned down a potential buyer who was reticent about giving us all his financial details - and wanted to do all the deals in cash. (Obviously we couldn;t accept that since you need proof of on-going income to pay monthly charges.) We had our agent investigate further and found out he was hiding - with mostlyl cash businesses - from ex-wives and kids in 2 different states.
After turning him down we notified both ex wives of his whereabouts.

Gotravel - I did not get support for years - long story but I was afraid to file - my ex is a bully and domestic abuse does certain things to a person.
Years went by and I finally got the courage to go through the system - and he then started to work under the table.
For a variety of reasons he had to go back on the books (see: he got caught) and now I get a small amount of money.
He is very in the arrears.
The cs services said the case will stay open till he is paid up - even if it means when he goes on social security.
