Anyone been to a Winery/Vineyard near Paso Robles that combines a tour and tasting with a nice restaurant for lunch?

There aren't many wineries with restaurants on the premises but a few include Niner (hands down best food), Cass, Aaron Hill, and Justin. I don't know of any where a tour includes lunch.

Like I said above, Niner has amazing food. It's small plates but their chef, Meghan, is truly an artist. Cass has always been known for their food but it's on the far east side of Paso if that matters. Aaron Hill has a decent lunch but wine is only so-so, IMO. Justin is not my favorite but many love it and it was just voted winery of the year by someone.

The best tour I have taken (and I live in the area and have done several) was Halter Ranch's Excursion Tour. No lunch here, but spectacular wines and scenery. Justin is just down the road so you would always have the option to do lunch there, or do lunch at Niner, which is probably 10 minutes away.

Make sure you check websites before you go as many only offer tours/lunch on certain days.

Also, if you want to see a truly beautiful winery (and they do serve food...salads, pizzas, etc.) make sure you check out Villa San Juliette in San Miguel. It is east of Paso but not far at all, and so worth the drive.

Relatively few wineries have actual restaurants on site. Some do of course, but visiting a few wineries and then going to a nice restaurant would give you the best of both.

My favorite winery was Tobin James. Doesn't have a restaurant or your but a very fun and casual environment. People were really friendly and kept pouring all their wines! It's free tastings there too.

I also really like Le Cuvier. Beautiful views and they have small food pairings with the wine.
