parking Mill City Museum Minneapolis
We are trying to decide what to do for lunch and a few hours tomorrow in Minneapolis before going to the airport for a 5pm flight. The Mill City Museum sounds interesting with the Stone Arch Bridge next to it. We are not familiar with the area and need suggestions on a good place to park, preferably free parking.
If you have a recommendation for lunch with free parking, that would be helpful also.
Thank you
ML

The on street parking meters are $1/hr with a 2 hour maximum.

Wilde Roast Cafe is across the river and a few blocks north of the Mill City Museum. There's metered parking over there. Most places in downtown don't have a free parking lot but there are a lot of surface lots and ramps everywhere.
It's supposed to be 50ish tomorrow, its walkable if you have a coat.
If you wanted a wide variety of restaurants to choose from, you'll find a lot on Nicollet Avenue. The section that runs through downtown is closed to private vehicle traffic but heading south of downtown it opens back up. If there's a specific ethnic food you want you'd probably find it on that street.

Spoonriver and Kindee Thai are very close to Mill City.

Sawatdee is a couple blocks away.

There's a place called Wasabi Fusion nearby but I can't get their website to open up properly so I don't know if they do lunch or not.
Or if you just want basic food there's a Spaghetti Factory close and a couple bars with decent food (Grumpy's and Crooked Pint).
