We are arriving around 7 on a Friday night and leaving by 4 on a Sunday. Here in downtown Columbus, Ohio the meters are free after 6 pm and all day on Sunday. Is this true for downtown Pittsburgh too? If not, are there lots that I can leave the car for the weekend for a reasonable rate? It looks like there are some $5 lots but I am not sure. We don't need in and out priviledges. The hotel charges $28 a night and that is outragous.

I don't know, but if you don't get an answer, you might consider reposting with the city name in the title of your post. That way people who know something about Pittsburgh will open your post.

Thank you so much. So do the meters cost on Saturdays and are they hard to find? We are staying at the Marriott City Center.

I can't remember about whether or not you have to feed the meters on Saturday, but as long as there isn't an event at the arena you shouldn't have problems with on-street parking in downtown/near the Marriott on the weekend. Every time I stay at the Omni I park on the street, no problem.
